Ranks and Structure

 

The Military Ranking System:

 

As Guardians of Stonegate, the Warrior Nation, where Warriors are not denoted by profession...

Everyone is a Warrior.

As such, upon joining Stonegate, every member of the guild is initiated into the military caste. Your participation within the military and whether or not you decide to make it the focus of your character is up to you, but participation in this way of life is still expected.

The Military Ranking of Stonegate is structured as follows:

Description of the Introductory Rank(Tier 1):

 
1)Raider:The first tier rank, regadless of character class or background, will always be raider. The rank of raider is assigned to every new guild member for a probationary period of one month. In proving themselves loyal to the Kingdom, a Raider should use this time to determine which path they will follow in the Stonegate Military.


The Three Paths:

Within the Stonegate military structure there are three general paths:

A) The Warrior: In this -particular- instance, the warrior path -specifically- applies to those whos' primary focus in combat is the use of a weapon.

B) The Wizard: This path is for all those whos' primary means of combat is related to magic or
heavily depends upon it. This path is valid for all casting classes, and may be optimal to particular individuals who rely upon such skills as alchemy or taming.

C) Support: Support is the path for the individual who shines supporting the battle through the mastery of their skill as oppose to riding on the front lines. Blacksmiths, Tinkerers, Beast masters, anyone who would brave the battle to offer their aid in an alternative mean- are all followers of this path.

 
Attaining New Ranks (Tiers 2-6):

 

1)Promotions:Within the Kingdom of Stonegate, it is our goal that promotions mean something. In an effort to see that this is the case, guild members are elligible to advance in rank on a case by case basis every few months. When a member is considered for promotion several factors are taken into account. Such factors include but are not limited to: activity, participation, contribution, and behavior.

Note: When it comes to acheiving promotions, always remember that the primary focus in this guild is the Roleplay. We are an RP guild. Though we are a warrior nation, and the course of our guild includes PVP, RP must ALWAYS come first and foremost. The ability to fight is welcomed but is not enough to advance you in rank.
